Hill walking
Yesterday we had a bit of hill walking in Alderley Edge, which is part of National Trust heritage. There are three walk routes available; we chose the hardest one, but not the longest one, the purple one.
The path was certainly not easy for us, there were lots of ups and downs, and some parts are really steep and rough. I became quite out of puff at a time. This kind of hill walking had a spiritual cleansing effect, I thought, in the halfway of walking, and we need to do it more often.
The wood walk covered approximately two miles, we all enjoyed it. Especially the view is spectacular at the top of the hill. However, near the end we almost got lost as we missed one of route signs.
We’ll come back to it another time, and start it from at the other end of purple line.
