The Da Vinci Code

Recently I have finished reading this book, it is not that exciting as I have expected, though the book seems holding lots of interesting information. The writing is neither poetic nor spiritual. It is more like fast food, after all, nothing remembered and nothing can be reflected upon. And I certainly have no desire to go back to it.

The novel concerns the Holy Grail legend and the role of Mary Magdalene in the history of Christianity. According to the novel, the Vatican knows it is perpetuating a lie about Jesus' bloodline and the role of women in church, but continues to do so to keep itself in power.

So in order to make Jesus a God, the founders of Christianity concealed the truth that Jesus was married with at least one descendant?
